  Zwischen erfrischenden Arrangements und vertrauten Gitarrenklängen verschmelzen auf There’s Good To Come kantige Indie-Rock- mit verträumten Dream-Pop-Elementen. Dabei zieht sich ein Versprechen von Aufbruch und Veränderung durch alle fünf Songs der EP.
  Das Verlangen nach einem lang ersehnten Wandel fand für Léon Rudolf seinen Höhepunkt im Stillstand des letzten Jahres. Diese Sehnsucht in Kombination mit dem Bedürfnis nach Musik mit motivierendem Drive als besonderer Nebeneffekt der vergangenen Monate schlägt sich stark in der ganzen EP nieder: „Ich wollte nicht mit hängendem Kopf aus dem Studio kommen und habe stattdessen versucht, irgendwie nach vorne zu schauen.“ Nachdem die Tourneen von Künstlern wie Seed To Tree, Luke Noa oder The Gardener & The Tree, die Lemony Rug 2020/21 als Support hätte begleiten dürfen, nicht stattfinden konnten, standen Songwriting und Aufnahmen mehr im Fokus denn je.
  "Ich habe eine Menge Lieder gesammelt und lange hin und her überlegt, mit welchem Song ich meine erste EP abschließen werde. In Zeiten von Covid-19 war eines klar: ich wollte keinen Downer am Ende haben, sondern eher ein Stück, das optimistisch, erhebend, aber gleichzeitig nicht oberflächlich ist. Und irgendwie kamen mir die ersten Worte "and I turn it off" in den Sinn – all den Lärm und die Angst in meinem Kopf ausschalten und einfach mal tief durchatmen. Während ich meine Ukulele spielte, fragte ich mich, was diese Pandemie und diese Situation, in der wir uns alle befinden, nicht wegnehmen kann. Was bleibt, wenn der Lärm abklingt?” - Lemony Rug
  
  Between refreshing arrangements and familiar guitar sounds there's a mix of edgy indie rock and dreamy pop and folk elements you can dive into with Lemony Rug's first EP „There's Good To Come“.
  In all five songs of the EP you can trace the promise of rising and change. The call for change reached its peak for Léon Rudolf in the downtime over the last year. This longing combined with the need for music with a motivating drive as a special side effect over the last months is manifested on the whole EP: „I didn't want to leave the studio with a hanging head and tried to look forward somehow instead.“ After the tours of artists such as Seed To Tree, Luke Noa or The Gardener & The Tree had to be cancelled, which Lemony Rug was meant to open for as a support act 2020/21, songwriting and recording was focus number one for the artist more than ever.
  „I collected a lot of songs and was pondering back and forth which song I should end the EP with. In times of Covid-19 one thing was clear: I didn't want to have a downer at the end but rather a track which is optimistic, uplifting in a way but at the same time isn't surficial. And somehow the first few lines „and I turn it off“ came into my mind – turning off all the noise and all the fear inside my head and just taking in a few deep breaths. While I played my Ukulele I was asking myself what this pandemic or this situation we're all in can't take away from me after all. What remains when the noise dies down?“ - Lemony Rug
